So, I'm sitting here, on a Wednesday night, listening to my favorite British singer, with one of my best friends in the whole world, while she writes on a story we are working on together, and browsing on my favorite art sites.
Yesterday, a different, amazing friend left my house after spending a wonderful night at my house making Japanese food and looking up favorite music stuff.
The day before that was Christmas, which I got to spend with my wonderful family and UU church friends.
The night before, I had participated in two UU Christmas/Hanukkah/Solstice services with the best friend who's with me tonight.
The night before Christmas Eve, I spent a fun night with one of my girlfriends, who I haven't seen in months since she moved.
The day before that, I spent the night, again with the best friend who's with me tonight.
For two days, I texted one of the men friends in my life from 8:30 in the morning the first day, to 10:30 at night the next day.
On that Monday, I had surgery, finally removing a non-harmful, cancerous spot underneath my arm, and I got to spend a wonderful afternoon with my mother.
On Sunday night, I got to spend the night with the same best friend as practically everything above
On Saturday, I got to spend a fabulous morning in my speech club, congratulating our adviser on her getting her bachelors in Archaeology, and I got to sing in my best friend's mom, dad, and second dad's (they are in a polyamorous relationship) vow renewal and commitment ceremony with my previously mentioned best friend.
If I say this isn't the best Winter break that I have had in a long time, I would be lying my hair off.
Happy Sacred Holidays to everyone I know. <3
