This is the Cure Angel Lucy, who is a fictional character that represents Breast Cancer, and fighting for the cure. She is part of an entire group of "Cure Angels", all who represent the different types of cancer.
I am walking the Susan G. Komen for the Cure - 3 Day Walk, in which all net proceeds go towards finding the cure. If you would like to look at my page, and possibly donate, please go to this site:

Lucy has interesting meaning in my mind. Both the angel and the human in the front show a story about her, a meaning that I associate to dealing with Breast Cancer.
Pink Lucy is showing the strength that all women struggling with Breast Cancer show. She is bold and outright, pledging allegiance to the cause. She is powerful, yet sheds a tear for all who have gone through the pain and suffering.
Angel Lucy shows the pain and death that can occur when a woman, or man, is diagnosed with breast cancer. She forshadows the pain that all beings associated with disease feel in their lifetimes, either from the death of a loved one, or from the sadness of seeing them suffer.
Her pink, feathered wings, however, represent hope. That one day we will be able to find a way to stop the rapid cell growth that causes breast cancer.
